A WORK PERMIT MADE ON BEHALF Of a Foreigners “WP.32” (if the foreigner has not yet traveled into the Kingdom)

Foreigners who wish to work in Thailand must have a Working Visa (Non-B) and must be requested by an employer or agency to apply for a work permit on behalf of a foreigner in the form “WP.32” to be submitted to the Thai Embassy in that country. A working visa (non-B). Once the foreigner has been granted a working visa, he or she can enter the Kingdom of Thailand, but it must be in accordance with the rules and conditions set by the Ministry of Labour and the Immigration Inspection Office.

THE APPLICANT HAS NOT YET ENTERED THAILAND, THE EMPLOYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR APPLYING FOR A WORK PERMIT ON HIS OR HER BEHALF THE MAIN DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Please arrange documents in the following order:

  • Form WP.32
  • FORM OF THE EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION duly filled out.
  • A copy of the first page of Passport.
  • Copy of the applicant’s education certificate or the determination form duly filled out.
  • A copy of professional license/ certificate in case of work in which the practitioner is legally required to hold a professional license or have passed professional certification.
  • A Power of Attorney made by the employer with 10 Baht duty stamp affixed and “in case of Thai employer”, a copy of the employer’s I.D. a card is needed. “In case of foreign employer”, a copy of the employer’s work permit or if the employer is not working in Thailand nor has no work permit, Power of Attorney certified by Notary Public and Thai Embassy is needed.  (In case of not submitting in person)

Remark :

(1) All the Forms must be filled in Thai. Any documents in foreign language must be translated into Thai and certified by an academic Thai native speaker.

(2) Every page of the documents needs to be certified by the authorized person or the appointee with company seal.

(3) The grantee from the employer must present the original I.D. card to the officer.

*To notify the Registrar the foreigner’s working within 15 days as from the date of receiving the work permit*
