Who can extend their tourist visa?
- A 60 Days Visa Exemption stamp. (This is the stamp that visitors from most Western countries receive when they enter Thailand.)
- A 60 Days Single entry tourist visa. (This is a visa that you will have applied for outside Thailand)
Required Documents
When applying for a visa extension, ensure you have the following documents:
- Completed TM.7 Form: This is the official application form for extending your stay. You can obtain it at the immigration office or download it online.
- Passport: Your original passport with at least six months’ validity remaining.
- Photocopies of Passport Pages: personal information page, current visa page or entry stamp
- Recent Passport-Sized Photograph: Typically 4 x 6 cm
- Proof of Residence: TM.30
